- My grandfather Nikolai Ivanovich was born in the village of Stankov in Rogachov district. He took part in the battle on the Dnieper. A lot of Soviet soldiers died in combat there. Fortunately, my Granddad survived.

-My great-grandfather’s name is Nikolai Markovich. Before the Great Patriotic war he lived in the village of Puzichi in Brest region (now it’s in Soligorsk district).
