-My Granny Ideya Andreyevna Boiko was born on the 20th of September 1925 in Irkutsk region. During the Great Patriotic war she worked in the rear in Tatarsk of Novosibirsk region. She was awarded 9 medals. Among them – the medal "For Brave Labour” and "For the Victory”.

-My great-grandfather’s name was Vasiliy Barashev. He was born in Balashov of Saratov region in 1908. He checked the safety of the railway, maintained trains. During the war he had to work very much because a lot of men served in the army and fought at the fronts. My great-grandfather was awarded an order and a medal for his labour.
Anastasia Okostko:
-My great-grandmother Olga Ivanovna Olgomets (1931) and my great-grandfather Leontiy Timofeyevich Vabishchevich (1930) were born in the village of Semegostichi in Stolin district of Brest region. There were many children in their families.That’s why they had to work hard to survive during the war. In 1944 my Granny’s father Michail Vasilyevich Olgomets got lost in the combat and missed forever.
Vitaliy Serchenya:
- My grandfather Ivan Artyomovich Serchenya was born in 1921. The war started just after he had left the army. He defended Stalingrad, liberated Budapest, took part in other military operations.He was awarded the medals "For the liberation of Stalingrad” , "For the liberation of Budapest”, "For military merits”. He died in 2001. - My great-grandfathers Fyodor Ivanovich Kupratsevich and Nikolai Ivanovich Makarevich died in the combat.

- During the war my great-grandfather Stepan Fyodorovich Marmuz served in the reconnaissance.
